Rev Buba Aliyu

Chair of the Fulbe Outreach Network, Nigeria

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to affirm that the accusations of genocide leveled against the entire Fulani people are false and unjust.

1. There are many Fulani Christians across Africa who love peace and are actively preaching the Gospel. They are committed to reconciliation, evangelism, and building bridges between communities.

2. Even among Muslim Fulanis, there are many men and women of peace who reject violence and work daily for harmony and coexistence.

3. I myself am a Fulani Christian and an ordained minister of the Gospel. I bear witness that our people are not a monolith, and that many of us are devoted followers of Christ and ambassadors of peace.

Honestly speaking, most Fulanis that they are calling bandits are just herders that are trying to feed their cattle. The pasturelands they graze on are now bought by people that want to farm, so they barely have places for their cattle to graze on.

Please pray for the Fulanis because illiteracy is really a major problem. Please pray that the Lord will open their eyes and save them.

Thank you and God bless you.

Remain blessed in the Lord’s service.

Rev. Buba Aliyu, Chairman Fulbe Outreach, Nigeria
